And so it begins. - The other day I announced that this would probably not launch for another week or two because of an unfortunate fire that ruined/started in a really essential tool that I use for taking comics from crappy rough sketch to pre-colouring. If you'd like to read more about that, you're welcome to head on over here.
Anyhow, I have a new light box! Josh saved my ass and bought me a cheaper one at Wallacks (thank you soooo, soooo, sooo much, you're a life-saver!) and so the comic will not be postponed (as you can see from the whole 'hey, it's already launched dealy)!
For now it'll be updating once a week while I play catch up. Thanks all for waiting!
Thanks Tara =) Usually the first page is the hardest. This is the first time I haven't been completely stumped on what was going to be on it, so I'm glad that my initial idea was well received by somebody!
The page size is unique, its not the usual format I see comics in which made it especially interesting. I was wondering though if it was 2 pages in one? or were all pages formatted to this style?
All pages are going to be this size and shape. The paneling will vary per page (this page is a single panel, and I doubt I'll be doing that unless it is called for).
I like the idea of a horizontal format page. It's easier on my eyes, and since I decided that I was going to try something different, I figured 'why not?' when the thought first came to mind.
