Bonjour! - I promise that this is one of six splash pages that will ever grace the face of this comic. I know that a lot of people make habits of just dumping quick doodles and random art every couple pages or so. It really disrupts the flow of things, so any extras I have will end up in some sort of 'extra' section.
I know now one looks at the news page, so I thought I'd tell you all here that we've decided to get a twitter account for Hollow! Why should you follow us there? Well, we'll be posting daily sketches and comic related news that you won't be able to see anywhere else. We may also be taking requests for quick sketches, there, too!
on top of that, there is now a page about the authors! Go see it for possibly untrue information about each of us, as well as well as info on what roles we play in this comic's production!
Anyhoo, the intro is done! Story time begins next week!
Splash Page The First - I remember when this page was being drawn and thinking it was the creepiest thing I'd ever seen, but now I think it's one of the most awesome.
Hope you all enjoy! Page 5 will be along next week and the story begins, so be sure to check back!
Also, don't forget to check us out on Twitter at the link above for updates throughout the week!
Looks great as usual, guys, I can't wait to see more. I looked forward to this all day! I was like "Oh man, come midnight Hollow will post!" Ahhh, thank you for making my evening.
Nice cover, it's one of the weirdest I've seen and that is most definitely a good thing.
I can't wait til the story starts so I know what this is about instead of the guessing I have to currently do ;)
I'm glad it's worth coming back to =D Next week ought to be way ore satisfying. less cover page, more actual page. I mostly wanted to make sure the intro was completely separate from the actual chapter, to avoid confusion.
@SuperBiasedMan - Weirdest, that I can deal with =D It's good to know that you're guessing, though. I'll try and keep you all on your toes!
This may be prying into secrets, but do you actually paint out your awesome textures and scan them in or do you do them directly in the program or what? I'm fascinated and awestruck.
I get my textures from a number of places. Some are textures that I've painted and scanned, others are ones I've made from scratch in photoshop, others are textures I've downloaded from royalty-free texture sites, and others, still, are a combination of two or more things from that list.
